Britney's back and looking better than ever! The pop tart impressed in a simple black cocktail dress at a recent charity event hosted by fellow blond bombshell, Jenny McCarthy.
Britney Spears is "spending her summer in the recording studio" working on a new album, according to a statement issued by her camp Wednesday.
The faded pop star is working with an unidentified "team of top-notch producers and songwriters" for the follow-up to last year's "Blackout," which has sold 879,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
